Designed to Make Metal Printing Approachable

Metal additive manufacturing offers flexibility and design freedom that traditional manufacturing methods often cannot. At the same time, many existing systems introduce high costs, slow build speeds, and operational challenges.

The GS-1 was developed as an alternative approach. By using a wire fed process and induction heating, the system avoids powder handling and creates a cleaner, safer environment. This makes it easier to evaluate, test, and apply metal additive manufacturing in real world settings.

How the GS-1 Works

The GS-1 uses metal wire as its feedstock and induction heating to melt material as it is deposited. The molten metal is placed layer by layer onto the build plate, forming solid metal parts through a repeatable process.

This method follows a workflow that will feel familiar to users with experience in plastic FDM printing, while still supporting the unique requirements of metal fabrication.
